The Government's e-strategy sets the expectation that:

1. By Spring 2008 every pupil should have access to a personalised online learning space with the potential to support an e-portfolio,
2. By 2010 every school should have integrated learning and management systems (a comprehensive suite of learning platform technologies).

The History Department, having hosted a website with over 13,000 visitors since it was launched 6 years ago, is now concentrating on developing interactive and downloadable resources and materials on the school portal.

This Portal is for students, parents and teachers alike, with every user being able to log on with their own unique secure user ID and password.. Access learning from anywhere, store work online, collaborate with others...the possibilities are limitless...
